Mexican Catering For Your Next Event

There is a level of professionalism and care that comes out of this kitchen that is quite hard to find these days. Every meal I have had from Takozz has been very on point. The owners care about their brand and you can tell. Food is always hot, flavorful, and fresh. Now that they have a second food truck I’m excited to see what outdoor events they will be at. If you haven’t tried them please do, you owe it to yourself.

We've had Takozz twice, the first time at this location and the second time to cater our wedding via their food truck :) The food is incredible, tacos of course, but the corn was also phenomenal. I was surprised by how tasty the vegetarian tacos were, too, as usually those tend to be an afterthought. The absolute cherry on top is Ramon, the owner, is incredibly kind and thoughtful. When he came out with the food truck for our wedding he made things super easy for us -- he was well organized, his team was incredibly kind and friendly, too. The tacos are a must try, and it feels even better to support such wonderful people!

So I came in to try something new and Takozz did NOT disappoint. I have been craving true, authentic Mexican street food since I lived in Cali more than 20 years ago but it’s hard to find that kind of quality in the Midwest… until now. I had the street tacos and street corn and the only thing that was disappointing was when it was gone. The best tortillas I’ve ever had, hands down. Salsa’s are so fresh. The creamy avacado was the best, imo. Staff was so nice and service was on par. I Plan to eat here every time I visit Fairview heights moving forward!
